Two Bangladeshi terrorists killed in encounter in Thane Dist
Mumbai, Mar 11 (UNI) Two Bangladeshi nationals, suspected to be terrorists, were killed by the ATS officials in an encounter at Kashimira in the neighbouring Thane district tonight.
Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) sources said acting on specific information that two suspected Bangladeshi terrorists were staying in a flat off Mira-Bhyander road, the ATS sleuths laid a trap outside the building at around 2115 hrs. When the police team asked them to surrender, they opened fire. In a retaliatory fire, they were injured but died before they could be admitted to hospital.
They have seized arms and ammunition from the flat, the sources added.
