Shriram EPC win orders worth Rs 120 cr

Mumbai, Mar 11 (UNI) Constrution major Shriram EPC Ltd today announced winning of multiple contracts to the value of Rs 120 crore.

These orders included Rs 77 crore worth rehabilitation of trunk servers of Delhi Jal Board which the company would take up in joint venture with CPT Asia Holdings of Hong Kong.

The sewers would be rehabilitated by trenchless technology, the Company told the BSE. After rehabilitation, the carrying capacity of sewers would be enhanced considerably, besides, prolonging the life of sewers.

The Company in partnership with KMG Pipe Rehabilitation Emirates, Abu Dhabi has received orders worth Rs 43 crore for rehabilitation of ring road trunk server-Slice A. The rehabilitation would be through trenchless technology, applying a spirally wound PVC liner supplied by an Australian firm.

Commenting on the orders, Company CEO and MD T Shivaraman said, these orders would further strengthen the order-book which stood at Rs 2278.2 crore as on December 31 last year.
