New chief priest for Guruvayoor Temple

Thrissur, Mar 11 (UNI) Pothayath Narayanan Namboodri (43) has been elected as the chief priest of Guruvayoor Sree Krishna Temple in this District today.

Mr Nararyanan, a native of Alappuzha district, was elected from among 37 applicants.

The new priest, whose term will be six months, would conduct a 12-day bhajan from today.
