Missing soldier found dead on railway tracks

Karnal, Mar 11 (UNI) A soldier who had gone missing while travelling from Jalandhar to Delhi in Pooja Express on March 8 was today found dead on the tracks between Taraori and Bhainkhurd stations in the district, Railway Police sources said.

According to the sources, the soldier identified as K Kalamudin of Manipur, posted at Jalandhar, was travelling from Jalandhar to Delhi along with his wife, however next day in the morning his wife found him missing from the train.

After reaching Delhi she registered a missing report.

The body of the soldier has been sent to Jalandhar Army Hospital for post-mortem.
