BPTP secures land near Noida Expressway for Rs 5,006 cr

New Delhi, Mar 11 (UNI) In what appears to be the biggest deal for the company, real-estate developer, BPTP today bagged Rs 5,006 crore contract for 94 acres of land at Noida.

BPTP Group was one of the bidders for this commercial complex bid along with three other real estate developers DLF, OMAXE and Ansal Properties and Infrastructure.

The 94 acre commercial complex will cater to the shoppers living along or commuting via the Greater Noida expressway and will have a total covered area of 25 per cent, with a floor area ratio of 2.0.

''We are delighted to have won this important bid and the company is in talk with the renowned architect of the world like Norman Foster for designs of hotels, commercial complex and financial hubs,'' Managing Director, BPTP, Kabul Chawla said.

In the race to get the land, Omaxe had quoted a rate of Rs 80,100 per sq mtrs, DLF had quoted Rs 1,17,000 per sq mtr and BPTP Group had quoted Rs 1,30, 207 per sq mtr while Ansal Properties and Infrastructure was disqualified in the technical bid. The reserve price for the bid was Rs 77,000 per sq mtr.
