Rahul Gandhi champions the cause of tribes people

Orissa, March 08, 2008: Rahul Gandhi, heir of India's Nehru-Gandhi family championed the cause of tribes people on March 07.The federal ruling Congress party lawmaker addressed a public rally at eastern Bhawanipatana in Orissa state.

With the possibilities of general elections at the door, the trip of Gandhi to the poverty-hit state is considered part of Congress' 'Discover India' campaign, where in the party aimed to reach the last man in the society.
