Three-day national seminar on bio-technology from Mar 15

Hisar, Mar 10 (UNI) A three-day national seminar on 'utilisation of physiological and bio-technological technique' for improving plant productivity is being organised jointly by Haryana State Science and Technology Council and Chandigarh Science and Technology Department.

The seminar will start from March 15 at Home Science College of Haryana Agricultural University (HAU) here.

HAU Plant and Bio Technology Centre Director Ashok Dhawan said here today the seminar will be inaugurated by Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Deepak Paintel and aimed at creating more awareness about bio-technology in the state and the country.

He said many well known scientists from the country and abroad would participate in the seminar.
