Sugarcane Growers Assn stage procession

Puducherry, Mar 10 (UNI) Sugarcane Growers Association staged a procession to press their demands here today.

Legislators of political parties, barring AIADMK, took part in the procession.

Later, the association representatives called on Lt Governor Mukut Mithi and submitted a memorandum enlisting their demands.

The demands, included fixing of sugarcane price for the crushing season.
