Mah Govt suspends 13 police officials

Mumbai, Mar 10 (UNI) The state government today suspended 13 police officials, including Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Bipin Bihari, for allegedly filing a ''false'' complaint against a city-based builder under Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).

Senior Police Inspector Pradeep Shinde was among the 12 others.

The matter became quite controversial as the tug-of-war between the two builders was used by the police officials allegedly for extorting money and to frame one of them in a false case.
