Lanco Hills signs MoU with Sembawang Infrastructure

Hyderabad, Mar 10 (UNI) Lanco Hills Technology Park Pvt Ltd signed an agreement with Sembawang Infrastructure India Pvt Ltd for construction of an IT tower for the former's prestigious SEZ IT park, today.

The agreement, worth Rs 50 crore, was signed by Lanco Hills CEO S Pochendar and Sembawang MD, J D Stuart Macaskie in Hyderabad, a press release said here.

Lanco Hills, a mega project including IT park, residential towers, malls, multiplexes, hotels, recreation centres and many futuristic amenities, was coming up in 108 acres in Hyderabad.

Mr Pochendar said, ''we are developing eight million sq ft of office space in our IT park, spread over 12 towers of SEZ and non-SEZ areas. Out of this, the first non-SEZ tower with four lakh sq ft is already under construction and is expected to be ready in an year.'' ''The first SEZ tower with 30 floors will have nine lakh sq ft office space and the work order has been given to Sembawang. We expect the work to start in a month.'' ''We at Sembawang take this opportunity to congratulate Lanco Hills on coming up with a project of this quality and magnitude, which will make a significant change in the IT infrastructure of Hyderabad,'' Mr Macaskie said.
