Jamia hosting SAARCH-2008 from March 12
New Delhi, Mar 10 (UNI) Jamia Millia Islamia will host the Student's Forum of South Asian Association of Regional Co-operation of Architects (SAARCH-2008) from March 12 to 14, in continuation of its various outreach programmes.
As many as 50 delegates will participate in the Forum from SAARC countries and the same number from India.
The University's Faculty of Architecture and Ekistics, in association of the Indian Institute of Architects, is organising the event with the theme ''Safe Built Environment in the Region''.
SAARCH-2008 provides an opportunity for the Architecture professionals and Students of the SAARC countries to come together and initiate a dialogue over issues common with the countries of the Region.
''The outcome of the conference and forum will help in establishing the relations among the architecture professionals of the fellow countries from the region so as to address the concerns related with the development and built environment,'' a Jamia spokesperson said.
