Gold improves, Silver eases on bullish advice

Mumbai, Mar 10: The value of gold today improved by Rs 60 per ten gm, while silver fell slightly by Rs 5 per kg on poor buying support, in the opening session of trading in the bullion market here.

Following were the opening rates of spot silver and gold in the Bombay Bullion market: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 24,775 Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 12,840 Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 12,895.
