Don't avoid questions by MLAs: MP Speaker
Bhopal, Mar 10 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Speaker Ishwardas Rohani today asked ministers to not avoid supplementary questions raised by legislators.
Mr Rohani made the comment in the state Assembly while Women and Child Development Minister Kusum Mehdale was responding to supplementary question by Mr Deepak Joshi (BJP) during the Question Hour.
Mr Joshi wanted to know the reason behind the posting of Child Development Project Officer Anand Yadav to Indore when several appointments made by Mr Yadav when he was posted in Dewas had been cancelled due to alleged irregularities.
Ms Mehdale said investigation into the complaints against Mr Yadav had been completed and no irregularities were found.
The Speaker directed the minister to take complaints and gather related facts from Mr Joshi and get the matter investigated.
Mr Rohani also directed Mineral Resources Minister Lakshmikant Sharma to probe into the allotment of mines in Banda area of Sagar district against rules and suspend the guilty official.
