Aircraft creates flutter by false landing
Chennai, Mar 10 (UNI) A Thai Airlines aircraft today created a flutter by landing wrongly at the domestic terminal in the airport here this morning.
Airport officials said Thai Airlines TG 521 from Bangkok with 220 passengers onboard took a left turn instead of right on the runway while landing and ended up entering the domestic terminal.
Officials swung into action by pushing two vehicles and towing the aircraft to the international airport.
Following this, the landing of an Indian airlines flight from Sharjah, in which Union Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahmed was onboard, was delayed by 15 minutes.
