Woman gang-raped in AP capital
Hyderabad, Mar 9 (UNI) A 22-year-old married woman was allegedly gang-raped by a four-member gang at Postal and Telegraph Colony under Rajendra Nagar Police Station Limits in the city in the wee hours today.
Police said the woman had come to the city from Tirupati by bus in the early hours. She boarded an autorickshaw at Ibliban Bus Stand to go to her friend's house at Rajendra Nagar.
The driver of the autorickshaw took the woman to a room in the colony where three others were waiting.
The woman was sexually assaulted by the four, who later escaped.
On a complaint, police admitted the victim to a local hosptial and launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
The victim had come to the city in search of a job.
