Prisoner escapes from jail during Yoga training

Hoshangabad, MP, Mar 9 (UNI) A murder-accused has escaped from this district's Pipariya Sub-Jail while yoga training was being imparted to inmates in the prison premises.

Construction work was underway near the class yesterday. The accused Prem Singh took a bamboo and props and used them to get over the wall. The escape came to light when inmates were counted after the class.

Confirming the incident, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Satyendra Agrawal said, ''Suspension of two guards has been recommended.'' Singh, who hails from Sagar district's Padrai village, was brought to the sub-jail four months back.
