CPI(M), BJP/RSS agree to restore peace in Thalassery
Kannur, Mar 9 (UNI) Kerala Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan today said the CPI(M) and the BJP/RSS have agreed to restore peace in Thalassery, which witnessed seven political murders during the week.
The district leaders of both the parties have agreed to end the violence, he told newspersons after holding separate discussions with the leaders of both the parties.
Mr Balakrishnan said stringent action would be taken against those who tried to disturb peace in the region. The situation had improved in the last two days, he added.
