Sonia Gandhi to visit Sangli next week: Kadam
Sangli, Maharashtra, Mar 8 (UNI) Congress president Sonia Gandhi is likely to visit Sangli next week.
However, the day of the visit has not yet been finalised and it would be either on March 17 or March 18, Maharashtra Cooperation Minister Patangrao Kadam, who is also the Sangli district guardian minister, said here today.
During her visit, Mrs Gandhi will lay the foundation stone for the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Nyas Bhavan which is to be built at an estimated cost of Rs 4.62 crore.
The Congress president will also address a farmers rally, being hosted to express gratitude over the loan waiver decision, Mr Kadam informed and added that Mrs Gandhi will address four such rallies in different parts of the state.
