Pune, Mar 8 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at few places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, coastal Orissa, interior Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over interior Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Arunachal Pradesh, north Orissa, west Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka and in some parts of Jharkhand, Haryana and Punjab. They were above normal in Manipur, south Konkan, Goa, Kerala and in some parts of south Madhya Maharashtra and coastal Tamil Nadu.

Day temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Bihar, Kutch and south interior Karnataka, and below normal in some parts of east Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly below normal in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and in some parts of Rayalseema, south interior Karnataka and Kerala. They were below normal in south Konkan, Goa, north interior Karnataka and in some parts of Saurashtra and coastal Karnataka.

Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Manipur, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, north Rajasthan and east Madhya Pradesh. They were above normal in Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, south Rajasthan and in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar, north Madhya Maharashtra and in remaining parts of Rayalseema. They were normal over the rest of the country.
