One dead, three ill after consuming spurious cold drink

New Delhi, Mar 8 (UNI) At least one person died and three others were taken ill after consuming spurious soft drink in Seelampur area of North East Delhi, police said.

Shahdab, Arshad and Karimuddin had gathered at the shop of one Jamil at Chauhan Bangar, last night.

The four had soft drinks at the shop and soon after fell unconscious. While Karimuddin died, the other three were battling for life at a local hospital, the police said.

A case has been registered and investigations were on.
