JD(S) to finalise candidates for assembly poll in region
Hubli, Mar 8 (UNI) Senior Janata Dal(Secular)leader and former minister Basavaaj Horatti today said his party would finalise candidates for Mumbai-Karnataka region by March-end to the coming assembly election in Karnataka.
Talking to newspersons here, he said there was no difference of opinion among the workers and leaders in the region. Minor differences among workers was solved by JD(S) supremo and former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda during his visit to Dharwad, Haveri, Gadag and Uttar Kannada districts last month, he added.
Mr Horatti said former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy would tour the region on March 24 and 25 and a clear picture of party's strength will emerge after his visit.
