Clouds hover over Delhi skyline, mercury 32.7 Deg C
New Delhi, Mar 8 (UNI) Clouds hovering over the Delhi skyline today threw up possibility of rains in the city over the weekend even as cool winds maintained the mercury at 32.7 Degree Celsius.
The clouds, hovering over the skyline in the city since the morning led to a rise in minimum temperature to 18.5 Degree C, five degrees above normal.
Cool winds during the day led to a slight drop in maximum temperature to 32.7 Degree C.
However, the warmth in the air persisted with the maximum remaining five Degrees above normal.
The coming days could witness a further drop in maximum temperature in the city with the weathermen forecasting a drop in mercury to 32 Degree C tomorrow.
The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours.
