6 killed, 12 injured in road accident
Sambalpur, Mar 8 (UNI) At least six people were killed and 12 injured in a road accident on NH 6 near Jayantpur under Sadar police station here today.
Police said the accident occurred when a vehicle, in which the victims were travelling, overturned after one of its tyre burst.
Police said while three died on the spot the rest three succumbed to their injuries in Sambalpur Sadar hospital.
The injured have been also rushed to the same hospital.
The vehicle was on its way to Sambalpur from Baham village.
