15 fall ill after taking contaminated food

Bokaro, Mar 8 (UNI) About 15 people fell ill after taking contaminated food at Bokaro Steel Plant here today.

All the victims were contract labourers of railway track maintenance near blast furnace.

They fainted after eating the food in the afternoon, chief of communication Sanjay Tiwari said.

They were admitted to Bokaro General Hospital.

However, two patients were discharged after some time, Mr Tiwary said.

He ruled out any gas leakage near the blast furnace.
