Two policemen injured in clash during 24-hr bandh
Bokaro, Mar 7 (UNI) At least two policemen were injured and several vehicles set ablaze during today's 24-hour bandh in protest against yesterday's ''manhandling'' of displaced people here.
The incident occurred at Sector nine area in which two policemen were injured in a clash with the bandh supporters.
The injured have been rushed to a nearby hospital.
However, no one has been arrested so far.
The displaced people alleged that the police assaulted them when they were demonstrating against the construction of a boundary wall at Putkadih area under Balidih police station yesterday.
About 12 people, including three Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF) jawans, were injured in the clash.
