Two killed in a road accident in West Bengal

Basirhat, Mar 7: At least two women were killed and 40 injured in a road accident at Raharhati under Basirhat police station in North 24 Parganas on Thursday.

Police here said 23 of the injured, including 12 women, were admitted to Sub-divisional hospital, where the condition of some was stated to be critical. The acident occurred when the vehicle carrying them collided with a bus. The bus driver and the conductors fled away, police added.
