Trial run conducted on Jalandhar-Pathankot double track
Phagwara, Mar 7 (UNI) A trial run of a special train on the double track of Jalandhar-Pathankot rail section was successfully conducted today.
Railways Chief Safety Commissioner Bhupinder Singh travelled in this train which ran upto a maximum speed of 100 kms. Meanwhile due to the trial run several trains, including Malwa Express, Hapa Express, Jammu-Ahmedabad Express besides several other trains had to be diverted via Amritsar to Pathankot. Railway sources said normal traffic on this section would be restored soon.
