SVU students protest against omission of Department Head name

Tirupati, Mar 7(UNI) Sri Venkateswara University(SVU) Botany department students today resorted to agitation protesting against non-inclusion of their department-incharge Savitri in a seminar invitation.

A three-day seminar on medicinal plants and herbal products was jointly organised by the Botany Department of SVU and AP Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Board, Hyderabad.

The students withdrew their protests and agitation after the intervention of the Vice Chancellor C Rathnam and the Botany Department Head.
