S C Jamir will take oath on Sunday as Governor

Mumbai, Mar 7 (UNI) Goa Governor S C Jamir will take additional charge as Maharashtra Governor on March 9.

Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court Swatanter Kumar will administer the oath to Mr Jamir at a function to be held at Raj Bhavan, according to a Raj Bhavan release here today.

Mr Jamir will take additional charge consequent to resignation of Governor S M Krishna, who will re-enter active politics in Karnataka Mr Krishna is likely to leave for Belgaum from here on March 14.
