PSJ issues Special Cover to mark Tata Steel's Centenary

Jamshedpur, Mar 7 (UNI) The Philatelic Soceity of Jamshedpur (PSJ) today issued a commemorative Special Cover to mark the Centenary of Tata steel.

The special cover was released depicting the photo of founder of Tata Steel J N Tata with the association Department of Posts, Jharkhand Circle and sponsored by Jamshedpur Utilities Services Company (JUSCO).

Speaking on the occasion, JUSCO managing director Sanjiv Paul said, '' Tata steel,a pioneer in many fields,has contributed to the development of Postal services in India. JRD Tata was the first to 'fly' with mail and immortalise the event. '' The president of PSJ said the special cover was released to make the occasion memorable for generations to come.
