Nine buses gutted in fire in Assam

Guwahati, Mar 7: Nine luxury buses were gutted in a major fire at a bus depot of the Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) here early today.

The fire broke out on the top of a super-bus that was parked at the depot and had not been in service, at about 0230 hrs at the Ulubari bus depot of the ASTC.

The cause of the fire is not known. Police did not rule out foul play.
