MRPL to create integrated township at Karjat

Mumbai, Mar 7 (UNI) The Matheran Realty Private Limited (MRPL) will build integrated townships to provide homes to low-income group people at Rs 999 per square feet at Karjat in Raigad district of Maharashtra.

MRPL president T S Hariharan told reporters here today that these ''affordable homes'' would be constructed on a ''no profit no loss'' basis. The carpet area will range from 300 to 500 square feet.

The company, he said, has already acquired land at Karjat and construction would start within the next few days.

The MRPL has already awarded a Rs 4800-crore contract to Sterling Contruction System (SCS). The company has plans to construct housing societies across India.
