Mega Block on Harbour Line on March 9

Mumbai, Mar 7 (UNI) Central Railways will operate Mega Blocks in the Harbour line on Up and Down stations between Belapur and Vashi stations from 1100-1600 hours, and on the Up slow line between Mulund and Matunga stations from 1000 hours-1530 hours on March 9, a release said here today.

On the Up and Down lines between Belapur and Vashi stations, all Down trains from Panvel and Belapur leaving CST from 1004-1503 hours will remain cancelled. Also, on the Up Harbour line, trains leaving Panvel and Belapur stations for CST from 1039-1547 hours will also remain cancelled.

Special trains will run at 15-20 minute intervals on CST-Vashi-CST section, while Belapur-Panvel-Belapur sections will have Special trains in 20 minutes interval during the period.

Between Mulund and Matunga stations, Up slow leaving Thane from 0954-1527 hours will be diverted on Up fast line between Mulund and Matunga stations. The trains will halt at Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkoper, Kurla and Sion stations and will be further diverted on Up slow line proper.

Up slow line services for Nahur, Kanjurmarg and Vidyavihar stations will not be available during the block period. Passengers will be permitted to travel to these stations via Bhadup, Vikhroli and Kurla stations respectively in Down direction on valid card and season tickets, the release added.
