Krishna's return will strengthen party: Poojary

Mangalore, Mar 7 (UNI) Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member B Janardhan Poojary today said the return of former Chief Minister S M Krishna would not create any division in the party but strengthen the party in the state.

Addressing a press conference here, Mr Poojary said ''the future of the party is safe and secure with Mr Krishna's return''.

Ruling out any internal rift or differences in the party, Mr Poojary charged the BJP leaders with levelling baseless allegations against his party.

''Both the BJP and the JD(S) are indulging in false propaganda against the Congress, fearing defeat in the coming Assembly polls,'' he alleged.

The party would highlight the 'misrule' and 'anti-people' policies of the BJP and the JD(S) in the election campaign, he added.
