K V Daniel memorial award for India Vision chief su-editor
Kochi, Mar 7 (UNI) India Vision chief sub-editor N V Anupama has been selected for this year's K V Daniel Memorial Media award.
Instituted in memory of late K V Daniel, the founder-editor of Telegraph, an evening daily published from here for the past 50 years, the award, carrying Rs 10,001 and a citation, will be presented at a function to be held here later this month.
Uni Warier (Malayala Manorma) and E Salahudeen (Mathrubhumi) were selected for the 'Golden Jubilee' awards of the Telegraph.
Journalist and lyricist Thomas Parannur will be also be honoured at the award distribution function, P Sreedharan, chairman of the award judging committee and William Daniels, Chief Editor of Telegraph, told reporters here today.
