ING Vysya, India Post tie up for policy renewal

Bangalore, Mar 7 (UNI) ING Vysya has entered into a tie-up with India Post to launch a service of insurance policy renewal payments through Department of Post in Karnataka.

ING Vysya Director (customer services) Rahul Agarawal told reporters here today that customers of ING Vysya Life Insurance can now pay their policy renewal payments at any of the 511 computerised online post offices spread across the state.

''This service is offered free of cost to all ING Vysya Life Insurance customers in the state, he said adding that in its launch phase, renewal of premiums will be in cash only.

He said the services would be extended to other states later.

Principal Post Master General (Karnataka Circle) Ms Meera Datta was present.
