Chargesheet filed against Education Extension Officer

Patna, Mar 07 (UNI) The state vigilance bureau today filed chargesheet against the then Education Extension Officer of Rupauli block before special Judge Sunil Kumar Panwar in connection with bribery case.

The state vigilance bureau had submitted chargesheet against Education Extension Officer Chandeshwari Prasad Yadav alleging that he had accepted Rs 5000 as bribe from a Panchayat Sevak for clearing the bills of mid-day meal programme of the school.

A team of the state vigilance bureau had arrested Mr Yadav while accepting Rs 5000 as bribe from Panchayat Sevak at his residence in Purnea on January 8, 2008.
