Boy killed, 2 women injured in accident

Nashik, Mar 7 (UNI) A 10-year-old boy was killed and two women injured when a cradle from a giant wheel accidently fell on them at the Someshwar fair.

The deceased identified as Rahul Dhangar (10), resident of the slum near Someshwar temple, Gangapur Road, had gone to the fair at Someshwar temple on the occasion of Mahashivratri, last night. He was standing near the giant wheel with others, when a cradle broke and fell on him.

Rahul was critically injured in the incident. He was taken to a private hospital and Later to District Civil Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The two others injured were identified as Mangal Sonawane (24) and Sangeeta Gunjal (25), both residents of Mahindra slums, Satpur.

They were seriously injured and admitted to the District Civil Hospital.
