5 people tried to immolate before J'khand secretariat

Ranchi, Mar 07 (UNI) Altogether five IV grade government employees today tried to immolate themselves infront of Jharkhand secretariat here in support of their demands.

Sources said that two of them received burn injuries whereas police prevented three others from doing so.

Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police Richard Lakra told UNI that the condition of one Bhrigu Pandey was critical. He received about 45 per cent injuries and been admitted to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences.

They employees were on agitation since past three months in support of their demands, including distribution of bonus and enhancement of their grades under ACP, he added.
