Sonia restructures various Cong 'Mahila' wings

New Delhi, Mar 6: Restructuring various Congress wings, party president Sonia Gandhi today appointed Prabha Thakur, MP, president of the All India Mahila Congress (AIMC) in place of Rita Bahuguna.

AIMC general secretary Meera Singh was made chief of the UP Mahila Congress.

Sai Lakshmi, vice president, Tamil Nadu Mahila Congress was elevated to become acting president of the mahila wing in the state in place of A S Maheshwari.
