Global seminar on medicinal plants from tomorrow

Tirupati, Mar 6 (UNI) About 200 delegates from across the globe will participate in a three-day international seminar on medicinal plants, to be held from tomorrow at the Sri Venkateswara University here.

Organising Secretary G Sudarsanam today said the seminar would be jointly organised by the Andhra Pradesh Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Board (APMAPB) and the University.

National Biodiversity Authority Chairman S Kannaiyan would inaugurate the event.

Former Director of the Institute of Himalayan Bio-resource Technology, Himachal Pradesh, V S Rama Das would deliver the keynote address.
