Appointment on fake certificate, challan against 3 in J
Srinagar, Mar 6 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police Crime Branch (CB) has presented a challan in a local court against three people who helped one person to get imployment in the forest department on fake school leaving certificate.
A spokesman of the CB said a tip off was received that one Ghulam Nabi Malla had managed to get a job in the forest department after producing fake school leaving certificate in 1997. The accused was appointed as watcher.
During the investigation it was found that two people identified as Ram Saroop and Mohammad Shafi Mir had prepared fake certificate in favour of the accused.
In another case, the CB investigated alleged fabrication of fake and forged agreement deed shown to have been executed by Mohammad Maqbool Bhat with Farooq Ahmad Mir in respect of migrant land situated at Nuner, Ganderbal, the spokesman said.
The investigation revealed that the deed was executed on a stamp paper issued by non-existent stamp vendor and prepared by Advocate Bilquees Jabeen.
He said a charge sheet had been presented, against the accused, before the court for fraud.
