PM lauds Indian team, BCCI showers cash

New Delhi, Mar 5th 2008 : Prime Minister Manmohan Singh lauded the Indian cricket team as they ended the Australia tour on a high note by clinching the Commonwealth Bank Tri-Series Championship, beating the hosts by nine runs to win their best-of-three finals series 2-0 on March 04. The Indian cricket board was not to be left behind as it showered cash upon the team and the selectors too.
