Travel portal to bid for unsold air tickets launched
Hyderabad, Mar 5 (UNI) A new travel portal-- www.atyourprice.in-- which enables a person to bid for unsold flight tickets, was launched today.
Mr Anantha Narasimhan of www.atyourprice.in said airlines in India had over 50,000 unsold seats each day which could be lapped up by the users of this portal.
The portal was a cost-efficient and effective way to decide the price, indicate the preferred date of travel and fly, he said in a release here.
''All one has to do is to log on to www.atyourprice.in and fill in the details of your intended travel plans along with your travel flexibility.
Quote the price (inclusive of all taxes and fees) that you are willing to pay and submit the request. Get instant confirmation if you are satisfied with flight option provided, make the payment and collect the ticket,'' added the alumni of IIT-Chennai and University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign.
The company later plans to include other travel-related products and services such as hotels, holiday packages and car rentals, it said.
