Talaei expects to solve technical hitches in gas pipeline
Mumbai, Mar 5 (UNI) Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Mohsen Talaei today hoped to solve the technical issues that have prolonged the proposed Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Talaei said the pipeline is a tripartite issue, and as a result the thought that started 15 years ago and had begun to turn into reality three years back is getting delayed due to technical problems between India and Pakistan.
''We are eager to start work with a great country like India which is a great economy too,'' he added.
Mr Talaei said Iran is against unilateralism globally and believes in multilateralism, and added that India is a great player in multlateralism.
Mr Talaei and a delegation from Iran was in the city to attend a meeting on ''Iran and India Trade Relations, Opportunities and Advantages'', organised by the All India Association of Industries.
