Smack over Rs one cr seized, 9 held
Lucknow, Mar 5 (UNI) Police have arrested nine smugglers and seized smack worth Rs 1.25 crore from the Uttar Pradesh capital in the last 24 hours.
Police in association with the crime branch team nailed down four smugglers possessing one kg smack in Kaiserbagh area today.
The seized drug is estimated at Rs one crore in the market, police said today.
Last night, five persons were arrested near Mohanganj railway crossing on Sultanpur road.
The seizure comprised 220 gm smack worth Rs 22 lakh.
The arrested had been sent to jail.
