Scooterist dies after being hit by Blueline in South Delhi
New Delhi, Mar 5 (UNI) The killer bluelines today claimed another victim when a scooterist died after being hit by a blueline near Moolchand in South Delhi this afternoon, police said.
Vikas Batra (36), who was riding a scooter on the Moolchand underpass when his vehicle was hit by a Blueline bus operating on the Teevra Mudrika route.
Vikas, a resident of Pitampura in North Delhi, died on the spot.
The driver of the Blueline bus Balwaan Singh, has been arrested, police said.
This year, around 20 people have died in accidents caused by Blueline buses.
Last year, nearly 120 people died of accidents caused by blueline buses.
