Progress of rural programmes available online: Minister

New Delhi, Mar 4 (UNI) Rural Development Minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh today informed the Lok Sabha that the monthly progress reports of all programmes being implemented by his Ministry were now available online, www.rural.nic.in, for the benefit of the people.

Making a statement, he said the Ministry had developed a system of electronic transfer of monthly progress report of all programmes in districts to respective MPs.

Also, 97 per cent of the funds from the Ministry was being transferred to District Rural Development Authorities (DRDAs) electronically, he said.
