Parliament to remain close on Friday

New Delhi, Mar 4 (UNI) Parliament will have a prolonged weekend as it has decided to remain close on March 7.

With Thursday being a gazetted holiday due to ''Mahashivratri'' and Friday having no sitting, Parliament will meet only on March 10-- after a gap of four days.

The announcement was made by the presiding officers saying it had been decided by the Business Advisory Committees of both the Houses in their meetings yesterday.
