Max New York Life launches three insurance products

Mumbai, Mar 5 (UNI) Max New York Life Insurance, a joint venture of India's private hospital chain Max India and US-based insurance major New York Life, today announced the launch of its three health insurance products under the series ''Lifeline''.

The health insurance plans will provide long term insurance coverage for hospitalisation, surgeries and critical illness, the firm told mediapersons here.

The product line includes, ''Medicash Plan'' with provision of hospital cash plan, in case the customer is hospitalised, ''Wellness Plan'' providing critical illness covers against 38 critical medical conditions and ''Safety Net'' plan, which offers protection from any losses arising from critical illness, accident, disability and death for the policy holder, the firm added.

Speaking on the occasion, Max New York Life Insurance Managing Director and CEO Gary Bennett said, ''With a range of feasible product backed by best in class services under this plan, we are offering the most transparent documentation for our life insurance products and are one of the quickest in settling claims.'' The series is being launched with comprehensive training to all the agent advisors across the country to provide need based solutions to the customers and it will also be backed by elaborate marketing efforts to create awareness about health insurance and its importance to all consumers, Mr Bennett added.
